Maidstone United are safely through to the second round of the FA Cup with a last minute goal by Frannie Collin against League Two Stevenage.
Maidstone led from the offset with a goal from Frannie Collin within the first 1 and half minutes. The Stones managed to hold onto this lead into half time, only for Stevenages Darius Charles to equalise in the 46th minute.
In the 86th minute, Ben Greenhalgh crossed the ball into Frannie Collin, who then headed it into the bottom left corner to give the lead to the Stones!
This historic FA Cup win for Maidstone United will long be remembered. Not only for the great result, but also that this was the first ever FA Cup game to be played on a 3G pitch.
Congratulations to the team and everyone involved with the club. Britelite are proud sponsors of the Stones and look forward to see who they draw in the FA Cup Second Round
